Valleys Kids’ Chief Executive

Valleys Kids is undergoing a major transition process. After four decades of pioneering innovation, establishing Valleys Kids as a remarkable charity that has changed the lives of thousands of individuals in ex-mining communities in the South Wales Valleys, founding members, Richard Morgan MBE, Funding Director and Margaret Jervis MBE DL, Operational Director are handing the community regeneration baton to a new Chief Executive Officer.  Following a rigorous selection process, the Board of Trustees has unanimously appointed Elise Stewart as the new CEO.

Elise joined Valleys Kids ten years ago. Under her leadership, Valleys Creative and The Factory in Porth have become key elements taking forward Valleys Kids’ social enterprise initiatives. She is in the process of building  new Senior Leadership and  Fundraising Teams. She is very much looking forward to her new role:
