Overview

We have worked hard to gain people’s trust and to provide development opportunities within communities. We can help mobilise local support networks, coordinate efforts and help people respond when challenges, such as the pandemic, present themselves.

Community development is a key focus across all of our work. One of our main aims as an organisation is to promote a hyper-local, socially engaged, trauma informed community development approach as a methodology to benefit people. We centre and direct our work around the needs and opportunities of local people, through effective communication, consultation and evaluation.

We work hard to ensure our communities have access to necessary services, working alongside other organisations and partners. As an entity that supports all ages, we bring people together to collectively solve challenges; maximising the expertise of individuals and developing strategies and solutions with a citizen-centric approach.

We seek to:

Collaborate; Stimulate; Facilitate; Enable; Empower; Educate; Advocate; Learn. Doing so through: Engagement; Participation; Co-production; Co-creation; Continuous Development.
