Valleys Kids is a place-based community development charity that, since 1978, has provided essential support, advice and opportunities to people of all ages in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Overview
Our motto is, “We are all Valleys Kids.” People know and use our wide-ranging services for different reasons, but one thing will always remain true: we provide safe, non-judgemental and empowering environments for people of all ages to improve their confidence and quality of life.
Poverty, deprivation and urban degeneration are real issues in our corner of Wales but despite the seemingly insurmountable challenges, we carry hope. We are all valleys kids, so whether you’re a 7-year-old in our after-school club, a 17-year-old in our performing arts programme, a 35-year-old parent getting help to access services, or a 75-year-old who meets new friends in our art class, we are here to support you.
