WHO IS IT FOR?

If you’re aged 11–25, come along and connect with industry professionals and take part in our free creative, interactive workshops. We work with experts from across the creative industries and this is your chance to ask them whatever you’d like about their careers.

Our 2025 event will be held at Soar Centre, Penygraig on Wednesday 26 February 2pm – 9pm.

Special FX Make Up

Interested in creating special effects with make up? Expert make up artist Kirstie Stanway shares her craft in this practical session on technique and application of special FX make up.

Radio Broadcasting

Think you have a voice for radio? Learn the basics with our award winning station, Radio Platfform and find out more about presenting your own shows on radio.

Photography

Are you a budding photographer? This taster session with photographer and videographer Hugh Griffiths from Lily Pad Films will explore framing, lighting and how to capture the best shot.

Movement

Ever wondered how to bring a story or character to life through movement? Join Dancer, Choreographer, Writer, and Director Krystal S. Lowe in this practical workshop.

Immersive Arts

How can we use digital and immersive experiences in the arts? Explore how innovation and creativity go hand in hand with expert, Robin Moore.

Spoken Word

Can you unleash the power of word? This workshop with storyteller, writer and director Tia-zakura Camilleri will look at how poetry and spoken word can be used to build characters and create the stories you want to tell.

Creating Worlds

Do you have an eye for design? Visual artist Anna Billes leads this hands on session in using everyday objects to create worlds for performance.

Want to learn how to use your voice? Join Amy Jenkins in this singing workshop to learn tips and techniques on bringing the best out of your vocals.
