Overview

We provide opportunities for children to connect and imagine through play.

After School Clubs for children aged between 5 and 11 take place several nights each week at our centres and we offer additional programmes during the school holidays, all delivered by qualified play workers. Access to play has long been an essential principle of our work as it is fundamental to every child’s development. Our programmes focus on encouraging children to be themselves, have fun and experience new things. Food is an essential part of these activities, ensuring participants have access to a hot meal.

How we help

We support children in a variety of ways, providing them with opportunities to be creative and build new skills.

Children

Play

Our play provision enables children to develop creative, social and leadership skills in a safe space that encourages creativity and fosters a sense of community. Play gives them confidence in their abilities, inspiration and a focus for their energy, all of which have a clear and positive impact on their lives at home and in school.

Children

Food Provision

With the increase in the cost of living, we recognise that some of our families are struggling to make ends meet. To relieve some of that pressure, we provide a hot meal during our activities. This also helps our children to learn new cooking skills and allows them to eat nutritiously, which is important for their development.

Children

Skill-Building

Our programmes of activities are designed with skill-building in mind. We encourage children to learn new skills through a variety of practical, creative, educational and fun activities. We foster a sense of pride and belonging in our communities and help children to develop social skills key to combating isolation and anxiety.
