Dinas Community and Family Hub

Our much-loved Dinas hub in converted flat number 54 of the Pen Dinas estate provides activities, opportunities, help and support.

Overview

Dinas is our smallest hub, but it hosts a variety of activities that appeal to all age groups in the local community, ranging from pre-school clubs, youth provision, drama classes and community fun days. We also provide space and an opportunity to relax with friends or learn new skills.

Dinas Community and Family Hub coordinator, Roger Wilcox, works closely with his team, Kattie, Leah and Susan to develop and deliver a programme of engaging and empowering play and youth sessions and provide plentiful volunteering opportunities for guardians, parents and grandparents to make positive contributions in their community. As with all our centres, our staff are trusted members of the community and provide support and encouragement whenever needed.
Our programme of activities at the hub takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and is free at the point of access.
