Salary: £23,541 per annum

Hours: 37 hours a week

Duration: Fixed term until 31 March 2022 with the possibility of extension dependent upon funding.

Holidays: 25 working days per year plus statutory holidays.

Hours: 1.5 FTE based on a full-time working week of 37 hours. These hours are flexible and open to job-share.  To be worked flexibly over the week including evening and weekends.

Are you passionate about making a difference to disadvantaged and vulnerable young people? Do you have Youth & Play work experience? We need you!

Valleys Kids is recruiting three part-time youth and play workers to deliver sessions at our Dinas Community and Family Hub in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Roles, hours and salaries:

1 x Play Worker: 14 hours per week, £23,080 p/a pro-rata

1 x Youth Worker: 12 hours per week, £23,080 p/a pro-rata

1 x Youth Support Worker: 14 hours per week, £20,589 pro rata

Fixed-term contract for three years. To be worked flexibly over the week including evening and weekends.

What is ‘Make It!’?We are excited to introduce Make It! A brand new network, participation, commissioning and touring programme; designed by and for emerging artists, aged 18 – 29 living and/ or working in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT). Funded through the Arts Council of Wales Connect & Flourish funding stream. The programme aims to create a culture where RCT is a place to play, create and develop an arts ecology that’s attractive to others where emerging artists and practitioners are actively drawn to come together and collaborate.
Partner Freelancers and Organisation include:
Off Ya Trolley Productions, Citrus Arts, Leeway Productions, Afon Dance, Artis Community, Spectacle Theatre, RCT theatre’s and Sparc, Valleys Kids alongside Interlink – the umbrella company for the voluntary sector in RCT, Dirty Protest who support new writing and Wales Millennium Centre, creative learning team. And Freelancers, Ian McAndrew, Matteo Marfoglia, Kiara Sullivan and Yasmin Williams.
