Valleys Kids children, enjoyed a surprise Easter treat when staff from Pontypridd Sainsbury’s branch: Joyemma Lewis – PR Ambassador, Tony Sims, Emma Evans and Deputy Manager, Dale Shaughnessy played the role of Easter Bunnys delivering a tower of eggs to children enjoying the Easter play scheme in Soar Centre in Penygraig. Over 300 eggs were donated which meant that we had enough for children in Dinas, Rhyfeyfelin and Penyrenglyn Centres.
As you can see the children were thrilled and eggcited.
Big thanks to Sainsbury’s for giving Valleys children this special Easter eggsperience.
On Saturday March 8th Penygraig Community Project and ArtWorks were pleased to welcome everyone to the Penygraig Dance Sharing, an evening that celebrated the talent that exists in our communities across Rhondda Cynon Taff.
It was an opportunity for the young people and their mentors to showcase their hard work and talent, in their very own style of dance. An explosive and exciting event with a mix of ages and an array of many styles of dance, including street dance, hip hop, creative dance and break dancing.
We would like to thank everyone from the local community and beyond, for their outstanding support. The show was a complete sellout with proud friends and families there to cheer the young people on!
Also we would like to say a massive thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible! This would not have been possible without all your hard work and dedication. The event was a great night of Youth Arts at its best with all of the groups displaying heaps of talent and a passion for the Arts. 🙂
Well what a morning! We had cakes and treats coming at us from all directions. We raised a massive £225 from all who came so thank you so much for all your efforts. We have one cake left to raffle off in bingo tomorrow to help us put a few more pennies in the bank. We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who baked and donated raffle prizes for the day. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
It looks good enough to eat and the best bit is you can!!!
