About Penyrenglyn
Penyrenglyn is at the top of the Rhondda Fawr and the project building itself is at the foot of a wooded mountain. The Forestry commission in partnership with the project and our environmental groups are improving and promoting the use of the forest by our communities. It's a wonderful playground for children and young people and they spend endless hours in the forest playing and learning more about their environment. We have a barbecue area which is well used by the community as well as centre users. We encourage responsible use of the forest and the facilities and hope to see more people in the spring and summer.
The project building itself is warm and welcoming and we have full disabled access including a lift. We run adult classes during the day and some evening classes too .We have an exiting play programme term time and school holidays offer further opportunities to have a great time in our playschemes! We have pre-school activities and even things for babies. We have midweek as well as weekend youth provision including a homework club! The kids actually ask they're teacher for homework to make sure they can come to club!
Residential experiences are also offered in Little Bryn Gwyn our cottage on the Gower. There's lots more too so get in touch.
