Fundraising is all about being creative and Megan Norman, Kyle Atwood and Ryan Stead, of Dinas Youth, have certainly proved they've got what it takes.
They are organising an inter-project darts, pool and table tennis tournament and have already raised £110.50 towards trophies by collecting unwanted items from family and friends to sell at the Caerphilly car boot last weekend. They were accompanied by Heather and Eileen and a good day was had by all.
We look forward to the next installment of their fundraising antics and the start of the tournament ...

Thanks to the University of Cardiff and 30 handy University Royal Navy Unit students both the Penyrenglyn and Dinas project had a face lift prior to Christmas.
The Valleys Kids Dinas Project is looking better then ever with support from RCT Homes, Connaught and under the new leadership of Roger Wilcox. They have converted the old garages to provide both office space and more rooms for community sessions.
The Dinas project has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years even receiving a visit from HRH Prince William. It promises to be an active year for the Dinas Project so watch this space.
The Penyrenglyn project has also had a busy 2009 with adopting a forest and then turning the space into an area where children and young people can build dens attend environmental awareness sessions and generally have fun with friends.
Keep an eye out for new exciting developments.
