Timebanking
Volunteers are the life blood of Valleys Kids and without their support and dedication many of our projects would suffer.
Timebanking is a credit system which enables volunteers to credit every hour of their time that they give up to swap them for rewards which helps the volunteer to grow their skills and confidence, and with some of the adult volunteers it enhances their work skills and employability.
Timebanking has helped hundreds of volunteers to learn how to drive, partake in educational trips and some youngsters have even pooled their credits to better their time in Youth Club.
Timebanking helps to ensure that our volunteers are appreciated, that they feel part of a team and that they’re time and support is recognised.
